Chinois for Your Table

We all seem to love Chinese Chippendale dining chairs- from Jonathan Adler (who started the hot trend with his bright lacquered versions to my side of the road finds. Now you can add some of that same design flair to your tabletop with Lunt Silversmith’s new flatware! Made of stainless steel but with the elegant look of formal silver it adds panache to your place settings without the hefty price tag and annoying polishing of actual silver.

  1. Do you have a favorite Chinese Chippendale dining chair that is sold online (at a reasonable price!) to the general public?

  2. Great find. Love the flatware. I actually never registered for any during my wedding. I couldn’t find anything that I loved, but the set you featured look timeless. Good find!

Also love the dining room pic above. The black with the lime and white is too die for! I especially love the white horse by the window. I was this close to being something like that at Burlington Coat Factory, but had to stop myself. I have a slight obsession with elephants (for there good luck value) and I tend to have alot throughout the house. I didn’t want to start mixing animals. :)

  3. target is trying to bank on that same jonathan adler / hollywood regency / chippendale chair look with a new line that they have in stores. check it out.

unlike most target knock-off home good though, this stuff is pretty limited but well put-together. if i was decorating in this style i would probably have picked up all three pieces!
