And the winners are…..

It was so hard to pick from the amazing entries that you all submitted for the Domino Book Contest! Many more of you did rooms based on the book cover, so that was especially hard to judge. So drum roll please….

The winner of the “budget Domino room” contest goes to Jennifer Baker, who not only replicated the feel of the room, but did so on a pretty tight budget! Here is Jennifer’s room along with a list of her sources and pricing:

Now to the winner of the Domino cover contest- Heidi Jimenez of Zenadia Design-and it’s a bit of a departure from the specific contest request but this entry just blew me AWAY. It’s an entire wedding based on the Domino book cover and girlfriend ROCKED. IT. OUT. From the decor to the attire to custom invitations designed by her for this specific event this entry really stood out in it’s presentation and style. No, it’s not a “room”, but she did quote me back to myself when I’ve said previously that I see events as “temporary interiors”!

Some picks for my runners up, who all did such an amazing job:

This bathroom by Lindsay B– loving the pink ceiling, the aqua penny tile and the chandelier- YUMMY!

This sweet and stylish nursery by Vanessa at Jacquelyn Reese Baby:

This dramatic inspiration board and bedroom by Cathy Stout:

A great interpretation of the blue and green room by Jackie Landeros:

The only person to attempt the Jessie Randall room was Lindsay Daly, and I dug it:

Thank you to EVERYONE who entered- you all have some amazing talent and I do hope to do another contest like this very soon!

  10. I have just discovered your blog and it captured me right away. I especially loved the wedding table that used branches and floral. My wedding is coming up in September; an intimate gathering of friends and family with the ocean as our backdrop, I could see using that idea for the tables…lovely!

  11. Loved these designs, especially the wedding, do you know who is the designer of the wedding dress? I love it!!!
