Weekend Warrior

I hope you all have an incredible holiday weekend- I’ll post again on Tuesday with pictures from the Beacon Hill Garden Tour! In the meantime, kick back and give this refreshing cocktail a try, it’s the perfect summer drink using my new favorite ingredient- St. Germain!

Combine about 1/2 shot of St. Germain with lots of yummy Prosecco, a spalsh of club soda and a twist of lemon. Imbibe. Smile.
The story behind their process is almost as fantastic as the product itself. Made from elderflowers handpicked by French workers and then ridden to the factory in bikes with baskets. Really, it’s true. I think the beauty of those details it what makes it taste so yummy! Plus, the bottle is so gorgeous and vintage looking on your bar counter!

While sipping you cocktail, give this a listen. Jaydiohead is the mind blowingly awesome mash-up of Jay-Z and Radiohead. Who would have thought my love of rap (yes, I love rap) and my love of Radiohead (yes, I have music ADD as well) would combine into one amazing, FREE album! Check out Fall Into Step and Wrong Prayer– my favorites.

  1. This is one of my favorite as well – love it in that new MS Living recipe for a coktail called “Gemini”.

  2. I am totally on your wavelength here–have discovered both St. Germain and Jaydiohead recently and I adore both.

The other night I had a Parisian martini: 2 shots Ketel 1, 1 shot St. Germain, 1/4 shot dry vermouth, and a lime zest twist. Fab!
