Picture 1

When I saw this picture of SJP attending the Burberry Porsum show in London I immediately began coveting this outfit. The fit of that little leather jacket is insane- and the monotone color choice looks so rich and interesting thanks to the mix of textures from the leather and chiffon skirt (kind of like yesterdays all brown and cream room!) I am IN LOVE. Not to mention the fact that there IS something otherworldly about a Burberry trench versus a cheaper version.  The cut and details will leave you in tears. Trust me. It’s a solid case of an overpriced item being worth every penny. Someday one shall be mine (insert cackling evil laugh and finger drumming)!

Here’s a version of Sarah’s outfit but using sequins instead of chiffon- after all, sequins are big this season. I’d get the leather jacket a size smaller than normal to mimic that really snug fit.

  1. Sadly, what strikes me first is how painfully thin she looks in this pic. Still, I can see past that to the fab outfit. Your version is great Erin! I always find your polyvore ensembles inspiring. Happy Thursday!

  2. I’m happy to see her actually looking fab, since I feel like all the tabloid pics I’ve seen of her lately, she is in some totally unfab outfit. I ALWAYS love your polyvore creations. Love this one too!

  3. Love this so much more than the Halston she’s been wearing constantly (even in SATC2!) since signing a deal with them.

  4. She looks incredible! Her makeup looks great with the outfit too–the heavy brown eyeshadow and then warm clean face. She looks very warm and glowy and ready for fall.
PS love the trench from spiegal as an alternative!

  5. You are correct on the cut of a Burberry trench/coat being different. I inherited a year-old beyond-beautiful and classic black wool Burberry winter coat that hits just below the knee, from my older (and very successful!) sister. I feel gorgeous in it and absolutely adore it. GO GET ONE!! ;) Enjoy the blog every day, keep the good stuff coming!

  6. This post is very informative. I was searching over the internet about this. My sister and I love how it looks and we are looking further to read more about this.
Right now we are goint to Tweet about this site to let all our followers know about it. Thanks and keep the good work.
