For you, your girlfriend, your sister or mother- some lovely gift ideas for those of the feminine persuasion!

Resin bracelets from Devon Baer are bold yet fun. I personally am coveting the elephant one!

I am CRAZY for this shoe print by painter Janet Hill on Etsy– an awesome gift for the shoe lover in your life (also comes in a smaller size if needed!)

This cute chevron hat and scarf from Hunter will keep anyone warm and stylish.

These Swedish Lapland bracelets are unique and made of reindeer leather (is there such a thing?)

For the yogi in your life gift the just released PranaVayu Yoga DVD (from my personal teacher) shot in artistic black and white and a great practice for those just beginning or those who have been doing yoga for a while. Pair it with a monogrammed mat to make it complete.

To inspire someone to get moving (or for any athlete- yoga or any other sport), this is my current favorite top for yoga AND running.  It looks great an so many different body types, truly! I am currently working on a petition for Lululemon to bring back my favorite top- it’s like plastic surgery and a diet in a garment. Good thing I bought three.

A simple cross body black bag with funky hardware from Rebecca Minkoff is TOTALLY on my wish list!

These monogrammed iPad cases can be made with either solid leather or leopard print backs! Expensive, but oh so cool!

I blogged about these before and sung their praises (and then they promptly sold out)- but now the famous fake Frye’s from Target are back and I HIGHLY advise you to buy a pair for every gal you know. Best and most comfy pair of boots I’ve ever owned (and many, many of my friends and readers agree) and they are under $50! Ordering the black for myself right now, and maybe a back up pair of the brown!

Have her dreaming of warmer climates with one of these amazing wardrobe staple tunics from Vivre:

There are a lot of great design new books out, but my two favorites on my list are Mary McDonald’s and the delightfully titled A Perfectly Kept House is the Sign of a Misspent Life.

One of my friends has a ring made of druzy agate and it’s my new obsession- these earrings and ring are such fab examples of it’s sparkly, modern charm

I still love ikat- especially on these plates and bowls from Anthropologie. It makes eating grilled cheese and soup all winter long way more fun (if it’s possible to make grilled cheese and soup more awesome…)

Scarves usually hide all our fab jewelry, so why not combine bling AND warmth with this to die for jeweled J.Crew “snood” (who came up with that word, it’s ridiculous) so you can sparkly and stay toasty?

  1. great picks! that hunter scarf and hat duo really kill me. too cute. I started my own gift guide last week, and in the process of selecting virtual presents for everyone I love I’ve nearly forgotten that I have to get them actual presents. I should really start shopping soon.

  2. I love Janet Hill- I’m actually running a giveaway for one of her pieces right now so you should pop over and have a look:) I’m insanely in love with all things agate these days and those rings are gorgeous. Also loving the bracelets and those great plates/bowls from anthro.

  3. I am curious (and a Lululemon fan) what top is your favorite – the one you are petitioning for a comeback?

  4. I love my fake Fryes from Target! I have actually worn them so much the heel is worn way down, but at that price I can just buy another pair. Nice gift guide!

  5. Great round up!! Resin bracelets seem to be everywhere this year – I was in love with a Mark Davis bakelite one – but these are oh so much more reasonable. Love the wallpaper in the shoe shot and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve already gone through the Mary McDonald book – so much to see in each shot!!

  6. Okay, just ordered the faux Fryes in black! And some other cheap boots too. Amazing that you can buy 5 pairs of shoes at Target and it cost less than one good pair. Fun, fun fun! Thanks for the heads up!

  7. Your post inspired me to order the faux-Frye boots from Target ;-)
Not sure if the promotion is still going on, but when I ordered, Target’s website not only was offering free shipping, but also 20% off your order of $75 or more. Woot!
