Kelley Moore, one of my fellow High Gloss editors, wrote up a great little interview with me today on her blog. Remember her INSANE office in Rue? Yeah, THAT Kelley Moore! And here’s a new pics of my bedroom as featured in the interview- I still want light blue table lamps, but so far so good. Love my new Dwell bedding!

I spy Sloane Crosley’s awesomely funny book! Way to support CC alum! And the room looks great Erin!
Ahhh gorgeous. Everytime I see your room I love it more!
Paint the lamps!
Your room is absolutely gorgeous! So comfortable and inviting but so glamorous at the same time!
OMG!! I love it!!
Erin it looks great! Yes, as Mom at 3:33 said, spray paint the lamps and do a final coat of high gloss clear spray. They’ll be perfect!!
such a lovely space!
It looks fantastic!! So glad you got the cream version of the bedding – it looks perfect. Can’t wait for the (hopefully impending) big bedroom reveal! Great job!
OHHH Yay! I was wondering if you were going to post an update! It looks wonderful!
beautiful! great interview as well… definitely inspiring from a designers point of view:)
You can’t get a PhD in Psychiatry. Psychiatrists have an MD!
Wow, it looks fantastic! Love all the contrast.
I love it! Where did you find the awesome drawer pulls on your nightstand? I guess with your line of work you do get to hear a lot
of stories ;)
Also @ Loyal Reader, I believe you can get either a PhD or an MD, the latter is able to give drug therapy where as a PhD is not.
Beautiful bedroom. Can you share the paint colour?
Erin, it looks so fabulous!!!!!! Can I ask where those fabulous grey ikat pillows are from??? Well done!
Looks good.
@Iman is wrong. @LoyalReader is correct. PhD’s in psychiatry require a medical rotation and you must have an MD. I would know. [email protected]
Very beautiful. I mentioned I have the same bed and I painted my bedroom light gray with darker gray behind the bed. I bought myself 2 of Jonathan Adler’s Capri blue teardrop lamps for Christmas. Gorgeous. Macy’s has them 50.00 cheaper than his site. Love your bedding.
Oops forgot to mention. I thought of you last night when I ordered the Nate Berkus Handcrafted Orbit Table Lamp from HSN. He has a beautiful Porcelain Ikat Bowl for $29.95. You always talk about your love of Ikat. It’s beautiful for entertaining. You can watch a short video about it.
@ jenna thanks for the correction, my bad ;)
Ghost Chair
Collette Bed
Black Accent Wall
(Swoon)
Love the combination of white with saturated dark colors…beautiful room!
wow all the little details are droolworthy!! especially the lucite chair!
It’s looking great Erin, and the blue lamps will be perfect finishing touch!
I had my eye on that bedding–love the colourway and the peacock, but I ended up going with a grey-purple colour scheme instead.
Like what you did with your bench as well :)
Bold use of patterns and textures. Honeysuckle accents. Very Dramatic.
That bedding is gorgeous in the room! I’m loving that your bedroom is half sexy, half comfy cozy. That’s a great mix I think!
Gorgeous! I have a very similar bed and I am looking for new night-stands. Where are yours from? I must get them! They are exactly what I have been searching for (different handles maybe…) but have yet to find…please I hope they are not expensive (fingers crossed…)
Love the walls. Seems like the dark color would be conducive to sleeping.
Seriously, you could be my decor sister. This is the exact same combo I’ve been looking into. The Colette bed and Dwell light blue and grey bedding..
Lovey love love
please tell me where the rug and mirror over the bed are from!!!
This bedroom is such an amazing transformation – absolutely lovely. Do you have a list where all the items are from (kind of like the polyvore outfits you put together?
Amazing. You have such talent!
Love it! The combination of the bedding and dark wall if to die for. I’ve been in love with the dwell peacock pattern for a while, and then you have Catching Fire on your nightstand — great book!!
