Fashion Friday: Short and Sweet

Yesterday it was about 100 degrees in Boston and to me the only thing I can stand wearing when it’s that hot is a short sundress.  I’ve been having some trouble finding some cute ones in the stores so I wanted to pull together some great choices online.  Striped, floral, strappy or solid – you can never have enough of these when the mercury rises.

  1. Good morning Erin.. middle dress top row.. love, but you left it out :( If you think Boston is hot, visit Miami, FL.

  2. I have the Irish lace Lilly Dress and adore it! Worked well for a super graduation day at Holy Cross!

  3. I love the middle one on the botton row, but didn’t see where it’s from. Could you pass the info along? I would love to get it!! Thanks!

  4. This was such great timing…thanks so much for posting these options! I was shopping this weekend looking for the exact same – cute sundresses to wear when it’s hot as BALLZ outside and I was getting so frustrated. Everything in the stores seems too structured or formal or either too thin/transparent that I’d be scared to wear without something underneath, which defeats the purpose of wearing a dress to stay cool. Where are all of the breezy, colorful cotton dresses? The only place where I had some luck was actually Soma! They have a line of dresses designed to keep you cool. I picked up this one with a beaded top for only $60 and think it will be so cute and not frumpy for running errands!
