Happy Holidays from John Frieda!

I was asked to come down to New York City a couple weeks ago by the folks at Conair/John Freida to help decorate a Christmas tree in Bryant Park for a party launching John Frieda’s  new heat styling tools. After some thought, the team and I decided on making the tree out of lucite (husbands everywhere cringe) and deck it out with swan and mirror ball ornaments and fake snow (oh, and a star made of hairdryers!)  Here are some snaps of the tree and the event, which was lovely- right next to the skating rink!

And guess what? I get to give away an amazing package of goods to one of you! Their hair dryer, 1″ straightener, 1″ tight curls iron and 1 1/4″ loose curls iron (which I have and LOVE).  Enter a comment below to try to win a whole new set of hair goodies!!!

  1. To be 100% honest, looks way more fabulous than what I imagined when I heard “lucite”! Nice work! I love your blog. It reminds me to add that little bit of effort to making my immediate surroundings as comfortable and beautiful as possible.

I need a new set of hair appliances! Fingers crossed!

    Cheers and Happy holidays!

  2. I dunno if I’m too late or not (damn you, finals!), but in any case, this broke student in need of some hair help had to throw her hat into the mix. ;)
