  1. Wow. Thanks so much for showing this. Those brown walls in the bedroom are amazing. Any idea as to what technique they used to get that finish (could it really be just high gloss paint?) so mere mortals like me could achieve a similar look?

  2. Love it! I found myself going back over and over looking at all of the details! The layered art, that kelly green chair, the bench in living room….I could go on!

  3. Such a warm looking home, I have that issue & featured DVF’s house which is much less comfy – but anything she does I still love, it was such a good issue!

  4. Gorgeous gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!! I love the gray painted brick in the second image-great texture. and the black doors are incredible in the first image! it is all very personal and real, which is fantastic. i actually don’t adore are the boots in the last picture-personal pet peeve-always feels too placed to me-but the rest of the room is fantastic. Ditto the Countess-any ideas as to how to get that uber high gloss finish?

  5. Absolutely agree about the layered perfection and personalization. Love David Flint Wood’s (and India Hicks’) style and have to say this is one of few spreads where I have loved EVERYTHING about every room photographed. When I win the lottery and you are designing my New York penthouse, this will be on the top of our inspiration board!

  6. love, love, LOVE!! Do you have any idea where she got the bedding from in her bedroom? i tried to find it in the credits of the mag. and couldn’t find anything. or do you know where I could find something similar?

  7. Erin..do you think that’s a Patricia Peacock painting (the white dress on charcoal background) in the room with the desk and all the pictures on the shelf behind it? Its too far away for me to tell, but it really feels like it….what do you think?

  8. Just a smiling visitant here to share the love (:, btw outstanding style. “Individuals may form communities, but it is institutions alone that can create a nation.” by Benjamin Disraeli.

  9. Despite her new ad campaign, I don’t believe she has a single piece of La-Z-Boy furniture in the apartment! It is stunning.
