Random Goodness.

Sometimes it’s hard to put together a cohesive post. So today I’m going to fill you in on the randomness swimming around in my brain:

Tommy Smythe’s closet is actually IKEA! Shows what paint and some kick ass hardware can do for a space.

When I saw these insanely cute pet pods I couldn’t stop thinking about Cadbury Mini Eggs, my kryptonite and the crack cocaine of candy.

Baxter would straight up KILL for one.

Oh my God, that makes me hungry. And I bet those bad boys are on sale now post Easter! :)

This font, Vermandois is BANANAS good. I love me a good handwritten font. This is the best I’ve seen to date!

This custom silhouette return address stamp is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

A cheaper, daintier alternative to the amazing Hicks pendant seen all over the design world…

I’ve been seriously parched this season. My skin, that is. I feel like I need to re-apply moisturizer right after I’ve just finished applying it. Annoying. So I finally caved and went back to the only one that actually works all day.  Hype usually falls flat, but not in La Mer’s case.

Just ordered one of Rikshaw Designs kurtas for summer. I love them paired with skinny bright colored denim. Easy peasy.

This double vanity is sleek, pretty and CHEAP- under $400!!!

LOVING this adorable animal wallpaper for a child’s room!

  1. I am obsessed with Cadbury Mini Eggs! I bought 3 bags last night! Love the pendant and agree about La Mer.

  2. Where can you get KICK ASS hardware… I have been looking everywhere!!! LOVE your blog… it really is the BEST

  3. OBSESSED with Cadbury Mini Eggs. My husband finds them disgusting, but I wait all year for that purple bag to appear in my Easter basket. I bought 3 bags on clearance at Target yesterday. That should get me through the end of the month!

  4. Erin, I love, love, love your blog and have been reading it daily since you were featured in the Boston Globe Magazine. I have to tell you that I just this minute ordered those pendant lights! I have been looking to replace the ones I have over my kitchen island and these are perfect and my husband loved them (probably partly because they were so inexpensive). So Thank You!!!!!!

  5. THANK YOU!!!! Just ordered the mini pendants. Have been looking all week for something inexpensive for my bathroom vanity. moving and needed to spruce things up a bit. Yes all Cadbury mini eggs 50% off, trying not to buy. Ate BAGS when I was pregnant.

  6. Some really good stuff in there today Erin! Love the pendant light and the Vermandois font. Totally agree with you on the La Mer. I ran out several months back and have tried to be frugal and sample alternatives. I might cave here soon.

  7. Haha oh man I hear ya about those mini eggs! I thought I’d get away from them when I just went to visit a friend in Hungary but her mom had sent her a huge bag of them and thats all we ate my entire vacation. No regrets!! Love the random musings :-)

  8. I love random goodness…it makes me feel like I’m not alone (with scattered thoughts)! I’ve got to invest in La Mer one of these days. :)

  9. OMG! I am right now eating mini eggs that I bought at 50% off today at CVS and hid in my purse, because they’re not exactly on my current south beach regimen–they are TOTALLY my addiction…..ALSO…i have been looking for a font for a show logo we’re planning next spring—–you found it for me! Vermandois! Love it….Lastly – now I want about 4 kurtas, great look and great price. See? Even your randome posts are great!
    Love you!

  10. I have been wanting to purchase a bright colored skinny pair of jeans but they don’t look that great on me so pairing it with a kurta (is that what it is called) will be a great choice! I’ll feel hip, cool and trendy! Thanks

  11. I have had a love/hate relationship with La Mer for years. Love the product hate the price. I recently found a product from France that is truly giving La Mer a run for its money. It is not on US shelves yet but I found a source that imports it. You just have to order it at least three weeks in advance, so in other words, don’t run out. It is Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Day cream, You can find it here
It is only $47 a steal compared to La Mer and it is the very first cream that I can truly say compares to La Mer. I am going to try the eye cream next.
