Did You Think I Was Dead?

just had lunch here.

Holy terrible time management, Batman.  I forgot our flight this morning was at 6 a.m. and did not have a post ready to go. It’s been stressing me out ALL morning that I hadn’t posted. So sorry, dear readers. Anywhoo, I am currently at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, an interior designer’s Mecca of sorts as it is the finest example of the one and only Dorothy Draper’s work. Already I am stunned. Cannot wait to take pictures and share them all with you!I am going to try to relax and take some time off, but not from you. Don’t worry.

I can tell you this, this morning I decided I need a new travel bag like no one’s biz-ness. Loving these from Graf & Lantz via Refinery 29!

  1. Oh my! The Greenbrier is my favorite place in the world! It’s so beautiful and the staff treats everyone like they’r royalty. It’s the best. Enjoy your time there!

  2. The last one with the yellow makes me want to orchestrate a terrible fate for my current weekend bag so I can replace it! Is that wrong?

  3. Funny, I think I checked your site 10 times today waiting for a post!!! I feel much better now :)

  4. I hope you enjoy the Greenbrier! I was there in April and was there for about 12 hours before I had to go to the hospital to have my appendix out! Just so you know, the accommodations at the Greenbrier are MUCH better than the nearby hospital :) Enjoy your stay!

  5. Seriously, I was going to send out the blog police to see if you were still alive….or buried under some renovation – demolition! Ha….enjoy your time away~

  6. If you’re able to make it to Lewisburg, check out Yarid’s! They have great shoes and (unlike the shop at their Greenbrier store) great sales.

  7. I am a 30-day newbie to your creative awesomeness, and I L.O.V.E your unbending dedication to delivering your posts. It’s so cool to “meet” other artistic minds who are also so action-item oriented that it’s hard to sleep at night…and who literally burn calories being stress-out… if things aren’t attended to as planned.
    Girl, you got it all!!
    Cheers!

  8. As soon as I saw that image I knew where you were, despite never having been there before! A favor request…Can you do some investigating on our behalf? Awhile back I came across this seemingly neat Dorothy Draper “school of decorating” class they offer at the Greenbrier. Thought it would be fun to go to with some girlfriends for some time away.

But it’s kind of pricey (close to 2k for the week) and might be a hit or miss. What can you find out for us?? MIght make a fun post… :)
