A Blue Binge.

I have been so all bout bold blues the past few months (perhaps because of the little boy?) and I had so much fun pulling together this cozy bedroom by letting my blue freak flag fly. I started with this amazing block print duvet from Kalyana Textiles and went all out from there. And take note, that amazing blue art comes HUGE. :)

  1. Love that rug. Reminds me of your black and white Ikea rug. I loved that one but needed brown! Thanks for posting.

  2. Blue and white mixed with black and white is my color choice for my home, I sometimes add a pop of Kelly green to the mix for fun!! Loved this post!!

  3. A small formatting thing – and maybe Im alone in this – but I would love to see where these items come from without having to click through. So instead of 1//2//3//4 at the bottom, just the label or store (which you can then click on to link through). Sometimes I just want to know without having to actually go to a separate website.

    Love your blog!

  4. I’m in love with the white inlay chair….the link directs to wisteria…but they only have it in black…any sources for that chair in white? good luck meeting your little guy!! so excited and happy for you:)

  5. I’m obsessed with blue right now too! especially Indigo and Shibori fabrics….just painted our new kitchen cabinets Benjamin Moore Hale Navy- I love it ( with new limed-oak Floors, Gascogne Blue Limestone counters on the bar- and a Grey honed Silestone for the work counters- really wanted soapstone – but the hubby wasn’t convinced – and we have the most AWESOME local hardware company Rocky Mountain Hardware- to die for kitchen faucets and drawer pulls….still searching for the perfect wall colour to compliment – I’m leaning towards Benjamin Moore Nimbus…..but may do some last minute experimenting with Farrow and Ball wall colours-maybe Elephant ‘s Breath anyone out there with experience with their paint?- I read pros and cons from professional forums about the brand- some rave about the depth of colour- which would be really appreciated- the space has cathedral ceilings and is flooded with light- and some say it’s impossible to get good coverage and some even prefer Fine Paints of Europe – we live in rural Idaho ( formerly from Australia- where we had amazing paint suppliers and this is all new for me) – so I’d be going out on a limb getting “outside” paint ordered in….BM easy to get- also like Sherwin Williams Agreeable Grey- but haven’t sampled…..haven’t succumbed to testing out Revere Pewter- because I’d like to be a little different from the herd and – and it looks from a glance to be a bit too green for my liking……can you tell I’ve been researching this remodel for ages! In fact, I found EOS when I lost a magazine at an airport that had a firepit at The Edelman house in Conn. and EOS had it posted in 2012- serendipity and Pinterest!
