Gift Guides 2015: For Kids

Some fun, great gifts for the littles in your life! :) I’m pretty happy to have on in my life this year, although he wouldn’t know a Christmas present if it hit him in the face)- gifting for infants is more about the parents anyways!

  1. Erin what a great list! I have a 16 month old son and we included quite a few Land of Nod items on his wishlist. They just have the cutest toys! Hope you are feeling better and getting the hang of being a mama. It’s tough at times but the best. Happy holidays xo

  2. We have the cardigan version of that LL Bean sweater and it is the hardest working piece of clothing my kid has owned. I recently thought we lost it, and I was fully prepared to buy the exact same sweater again.

  3. That’s a lot of Grandma bait! I have to be careful not to overwhelm our grandkids with toys … because I would. Love window shopping the Land of Nod. And anything Doug and Melissa makes gets my toy lust going. I just got the most adorable all wood play kitchen nearly as cute as the one you feature but for under $20. I saw it being dropped off at a thrift store and stalked it for three days until it made it to the selling floor (having grandkids is a great excuse to get stuff I secretly want).
I’m not a fan of toys that only can be played with in one way only. I love open ended toys like lincoln logs and blocks that kids can explore and create with. This year, the four year old is getting a set of twenty playdough colors, rolling pin, plastic cookie cutters (safe for little fingers) for endless “cookie making”… and I plan on helping her.
