I spent a bit of my weekend at my parents house and saw that they had cleared out the inside of this amazing, HUGE old barn foundation they have on their property. I’ve long loved this spot, and have always thought it would be the PERFECT place for a Martha Stewart style dinner party or big celebration (you could probably seat 200 people in here)– am I right???
My project manager Lindsey showed me this amazing place, The Barn at Flanagan Farm, an amazing event venue close to Portland, Maine and I just about died. This spectacular barn and farmhouse, lovingly and painstakingly renovated by new owner Gail Landry (read more about the process here), is such a warm, gorgeous spot to celebrate some of life’s greatest moments. And what design inspiration too!
I didn’t even know it until I saw this article, but a cocktail tower may be the secret to happiness. :)
Yup, there are people in this world who have gorgeous structures on their property expressly for drinking cocktails while watching the sun go down. I can’t even wrap my brain around this awesomeness, so I’ll just let you take a look:
I thought I’d round up some budget friendly finds I’ve spotted as of late from a bunch of our favorite retail biggies as well as some Etsy and auction house treasures!

Just some things that I’ve been loving this week:
The amazing interior paintings by David Lloyd Gallery on Etsy! I love the loose, painterly style of his work and can see these framed within a gallery wall! He also does lovely nudes and paintings of people as well! Prints start at just $15!
