I found out about this adorable illustrator 23 Madison Studio via Katie Armour and had to post her ultra-feminine works, perfect for gifts for girlfriends, moms, aunts or daughters. I especially love the What’s in My Bag” drawings, which can be customized to your exact bag and contents. Mine right now would be pathetic- broken strapped Louis Neverfull with loose change, dirty receipts, fabric samples, a random lip gloss, old ass wallet and set of keys reminiscent of a high school janitors. This will be the year of a new bag and wallet, I swear.
I am LOVING this print for a closet! Perfection.
I mean, how fabulous would these No 5 gift tags be to attach to bridal shower favors?
Or get a card to give a Chanel obsessed friend (complete with perfume box envelope).
Or your Celine obsessed friend (that would be me.)
Or your little blue box fan (or newly engaged person).
I found this Etsy artist Elizabeth Mayville on one of my favorite blogs Note to Self the other day and had to share. Framed simply in white or in a vintage ornate gilded frame these little beauties would shine!
We added some fun new throw pillows to the Elements of Style Etsy shop!
I posted this picture on Twitter of the pillow I had made for my guest bed of this INSANE vintage fabric I found in an antique shop recently….
I had some pillows made to sell of the same fabric. I am obsessed with the color combination- dark green, chartreuse, pink, white and grey! YUM!
Some Celerie Kemble Betwixt pillows, perfect for any space. Looks great paired with florals or any other organic pattern!
I found this ikat chevron fabric at Mood in NYC- I backed it in navy and added an applique border….
Who doesn’t love zebra? Especially zebra piped in turquoise!?
It’s always fun to see something you sell on Etsy turn into something magical by the person who purchased it. A reader sent me a link to her wedding invitations she had made by Parrott Design Studio using the vintage navy and white butterfly wallpaper I sell on Etsy! How fantastic are these???
You may recall seeing it frame din my office at one point…
And I still think it would look lovely in a powder room (this paper has a very similar vibe).
When I saw this amazing girl’s bathroom by Grant K. Gibson for the Elle Decor Showhouse I was reminded of how the Keep Calm poster has become a bit of an iconic classic in the last few years (you can buy the classics in sfgirlbybay’s Etsy shop).
And while it’s a great reminder to keep a level head about you, sometimes you just can;t help but be negative. And so part of me loves these parody posters even more than the classic! A great gift for someone having a tough time who might need a good laugh!
