The Chicest Kids Furniture

Jennifer Delonge styled one of my favorite nurseries of all time (her own) that I have kept in my inspiration files forever.  I remembered this the other day and went to her site only to find the COOLEST kid size furniture ever in fantastically fun and modern prints and fabrics! When it comes to kids furniture I love nothing more than adult pieces scaled down as to not create a juvenile or cheap look.

Her perfect nursery!

The furniture!

The book shelf wall ledges are SO perfect for storing storybooks in a neat way!

The MOST gorgeous play table ever made!

The adult sized gliders come in all the same fabulous prints as well!

Some more of Jennifers fabulous work.

Nursery Knockouts

I am sporting a slight tan and a VERY full inbox and to do list after almost a week away in Florida.  I spent the vacations amongst the babies and kids of my family and friends- I don’t think I ever realized how much GEAR is needed with kids! Like, an unholy amount of stuff to keep them fed, clean, happy and mobile. High fives to all you moms out there! That said, some of that gear can be pretty damn cute, as in the nursery designs of Rikshaw Design and Javis Davis.  A lot of you ask me for nursery decor ideas and these two sources are fabulous!

Rikshaw makes amazing, Indian inspired bedding and clothing that I simply adore. I cannot get enough of those elephant pillows.

On the Move

Am I the last person to know that Pieces owner Lee Kleinhelter moved from her oft-featured home into a modern condo in Atlanta? A reader gave me the heads up and I finally found the spread from Atlanta Homes Magazine.  It’s such a departure for Lee, but I do like the sleek simplicity of lots of glass and breathing room mixed with her famous reinvented antiques. I love the super-mod nursery with grass cloth abound, still drool over that camel colored Hermes blanket and have decided that I need an elephant side table, like, yesterday.
