I have always wanted to have my own boutique. Obviously adding that to my already insane to-do list is too much, so when M. Flynn approached me about doing a pop-up shop in coordination with my jewelry collection with them I leapt at the chance! They renovated an amazing little space off their gorgeous store and we filled it with brands I’ve collaborated with as well as some local companies I just love. We had our party a couple weeks ago but the shop is open until December 25th so please pop in if you are in the South End shopping! Perfect for holiday gifts (yes, we need to start thinking about that!)
We set the table with my new collection with Jill Rosenwald (including brand new hand-painted striped dinner plates!) We made a centerpiece out of greens and jewelry (and used some The Ropes Maine bracelets as napkin rings, of course).

I have long frequented Hudson, my most favorite home shop in Boston, not only for myself and my clients. Jill Goldberg, the shop’s owner and interior designer, has THE most impeccable taste. Her store installations, changed seasonally, are always so perfectly spot on I end up leaving a visit to the shop with lots of ideas and desires for my own space. So when they asked to become an EOS sponsor I was super thrilled, a more natural fit than this I cannot think of! Here are some shot of the store’s spring look…
And here are some of my current favorites in the shop (you can shop online as well, but if and when you are in Boston’s South End you NEED to go!)

I also saw these new pillows on their Instagram and LOOOOOOOVE them. The gold zipper detail is perfection, no?
I am so lucky to have so many wonderful companies that believe in what I do so much that they decide to sponsor this blog. Laura U is one of them. Laura Umansky is the designer and owner of the designer firm and shop and I wanted to share a few of her projects and shop items I am loving.
How whimsical and great is the use of the ostrich wallpaper (we used this in a project too!) The sofa is a totally unique color and it really works well with the neutral palette creating a focus.
Love the palette of this room too- the dusty coral with all that white and hints of tan and brown.
This wall installation of a cluster of varying sizes of juju hats is awesome and something I haven’t seen before.
Another yummy palette- similar to above. A great look that shows off the natural woodwork of the space.
We’ve used this Kravet fabric for drapes before too and it looks SO GOOD here! Such a great scale on this print!
An incredibly fun Moroccan themed den- the lighting, the built ins (!!!!), the cabinetry……those BEAMS!
ADORE this child’s room- that cobalt door is kind of everything, especially when paired with the bright colored accents. And this bathroom wallpaper is one I have been DYING to use, so nice to see it in play!
A great bath, especially that floor.
An awesome little outdoor scheme. That umbrella and chairs? Perfect!
Laura U’s shop is a little boutique of curated goods- from refurbished vintage finds to Voluspa candles and accessories- a couple finds:
I have to admit to you guys- despite my best efforts to kick and scream and hate the burbs… I am SO much happier here than I was in the city! Yes, we do live so close to the city that some people laugh when I call where we live “the burbs” and we live two short blocks from lots of fabulous restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. But to me, it’s still the burbs. But I friggin’ love it! Even though our house has a kitchen that has the amenities that border on that of a campsite (no dishwasher, no disposal, super old rickety stove and musty cabinets that smell like death) I still am much happier here! Maybe it’s because Baxter and Oliver are over the friggin’ moon about this move and the fact that they have a yard and a big park steps away from the house. Lets be honest, most of the reason I bought this place is for them (cue obvious unhealthy relationship with my canine children). Hey, whatever works, right?
As I explore my neighborhood I want to share it with you- like this amazing home store belonging to fellow designer Liz Caan that is right down the street- not only is it adorable on the outside (black and white stripe awning, I die), but I love the inside too. :)
How charming is the exterior? And I am totally going to paint an old dresser of mine like the one below with the stripe and some funky brass hardware! LOVE!
The interior of this secretary is wallpapered in Scalamandre’s zebra paper!
This custom coffee table done in Hicks La Fiorentina grasscloth- and loving the striped lacquer boxes too!
A little bit of heaven, right?
I think I am pretty darn confident when I say you guys like to shop. And knowing that a lot of you are New England based, I know you are going to like this new sponsor as much as I do. Spreedia + New Brahmin Access is a members-only shopping card that gets you discounts at some of your favorite local small businesses and boutiques along with special deals exclusive to cardholders. Show your card when you buy anything at participating retailers (click here for the list) and get 10% off your purchase. Supporting small local businesses AND getting a deal? A winnig combination in my book!
S+NB Access was founded by two of Boston’s fashion elite- Liana Krupp of New Brahmin (awesome fashion blog) and Amanda Knorr of Spreedia (a guide to Boston/Cambridge boutiques). These two know everything there is to know about local boutique shopping and are a trusted source for all things fashion.
